The Monarch series has quickly become the staple of the Byerly wakeboard line up. Beginning with a mellow, Blended 3-stage rocker and shorter 9 inch molded fins, this shape is faster and releases off the wake quicker than previous Byerly models. New molded footbed contours keep the board rigid in the center to maintain the rocker line for consistent pop. The board then blends into a lean tip and tail for maximum flex and snap off the wake and when initiating edges. In addition to the new shape, the Monarch also features our all new Biolite 3 core. This material is lighter and stronger than traditional foam core boards. The Monarch is a proven shape at a new lower price.

The evolution of glass technology is truly the driving force behind the design and construction of the new Conspiracy series. Expanding on the durability and strength a Glass Rope sidewall delivers, the Conspiracy takes it one step further with the addition of a Glass Rope deck inlay. This Dual Rope construction creates twice the strength of a traditional wakeboard lay-up allowing this series to be the thinnest in the line while still delivering all the explosive pop Byerly riders have come to love. Scott Bouchard has also created a faster more responsive ride. Combining an all new profile and ABS molded-in fins closer to the edge of the board, the Conspiracy is quick to respond and holds an edge all the way to the wake. Once there the new placement of the ABS fins, ending nearly an inch from the tip and tail, allows the board to release quickly giving a rider more time to begin their rotation. The Conspiracy series is the perfect balance of innovation and shape, creating one of the best rides out there.

This series features never before used Glass Rope Edge technology. A full .25 in. fiberglass edge in every board means a torsionaly stronger lay up that will spring back to it original rocker line faster than anything on the market. This new reinforced construction also allows the Assault to be the thinnest board Byerly has produced to date. What does a thinner board mean? Easy, lighter overall weight and better flex characteristics. All these features compliment the Assaults blended three-stage rocker for that traditional Byerly board pop, and the longer ABS molded-in fins make for a strong edge hold into the wake. Overall the new Byerly Assault is the perfect combination shape and construction innovation.

From the creator of the original forward lean design comes the latest innovation in boot flex and control. The all new Byerly BOA utilizes BOATM technology to control the amount of forward lean you want in your boot. This fully “adjust on the fly” system allows a rider to go from 0º to 20º of forward lean in the cuff of the boot, while never affecting forward flex. This feature combined with the dual Quick Cinch lace system for customizable tightness and the new Low Pro plate which put the rider closer to the deck of the board, makes the Byerly BOA the most technical boot in the line. You can BUY the 2009 Byerly Boa Wakeboard bindings.

Scott Byerly has been a legend in the sport of Wakeboarding and last season Hyperlite create the Byerly Wakeboard brand to promote the greatest wakeboarder in the history of wake.

We have been a Byerly fan since his days at Wet Tech so we hope to bring you as much information as we can on his products and boards.

New for next season Byerly will be releasing a new shape unlike the first Legacy released board. The new shape will have more of the Byerly Bucking style lift off the wake. IT will come in 3 sizes. A 52, 54 and 56. Butch designed this board and gave it more surface area for max pop. Look for this to be a harder board to ride but for those that want a board with big pop you should demo this board in 2008.

The Byerly line is also looking at developing a wood skate. This is a skate that they will probably have Daniels riding when they get the testing done and release a final skate. He is on a few prototype boards right now.

I also heard some news that Byerly boards might have a new team rider lined up. Look for a long time friend of Byerly to join the team in the near future.
